Winter Amaryllis (2003)

I've been raising amaryllis for a little winter color and they are finally coming into bloom.

The Red Sensation was the first to bloom. It rises about two feet above the pot and dominates the room with its huge blooms.

The Rilona was the second to bloom. It also rises about two feet above the pot and has beautiful salmon-colored blooms.

The Apple Blossom bloomed next. It's about a foot-and-a-half tall with green, white, and pink blooms.

The Crimson Elf took over ten weeks to bloom, but its brilliant red color was worth it.

The Red Peacock bloomed very fast. Brilliant red like the red sensation with a slightly tighter bloom.
